It really depends on your budget. Are the windows in good shape? If they are don't rush to replace them. I think some well chosen pot plants could really help with kerb appeal. It's very sterile. The pebbledash is a shame as it looks as though your neighbours have brick. I would investigate either rendering and painting or removing it if possible. You could also distract from it by replacing your driveway/front path which looks like concrete.

Thank you! Really helpful. Our budget is decent and the problem with the window is not just external appearance, but that they are meanly proportioned and therefore the inside room at the front are darker than they could be too.

I'm thinking paint the pebbledash white (having seen a few successful before and afters in the discussions here and the brickwork along the street is not attractive) and then replace windows with taupe/palegrey colour...

The window to the right of the front door does seem smaller than the houses around you. You have some good ideas go with it. Like the idea of white render with taupe/pale grey coloured window frames. That would tie in better with the front door colour too. You would be amazed what a difference some greenery makes.

Are there Shutters or Venetian Blinds at your windows? If so, they will be reducing the light coming into your house.

I would consider off white paint on the render, new white thin framed simpler windows and invest in a really smart garage door (cedar) and gate (cedar too) and front door. Add lots of greenery in architectural plants. It wouldn't look too dramatically different from the other houses and white windows won't date. Dark windows need very thin frames but can look great with taupe coloured painted walls, white and black a bit too stark in my opinion.

The middle upstairs window does look a bit mean in size. I really like your front door, possibly Agate Grey? I think white render and windows in a similar colour to your door would be lovely. These two frontages is all Agate Grey door and windows. First render is a soft cream and the second one may just be white? Very pretty.
