Kitchen Lighting, inspiration needed!

Hello

We are completing an extension in our kitchen and struggling to choose a pendant light.

We have spotlights either side of the beam, underneath will be our dining table. I had thought about a multi light option but I don’t think the lights will sit centrally.

Style wise we have heritage style black doors to be fitted, a white/grey quartz worktop and LVT herringbone floor, so I want to include some styling in the softer features so it isn’t too bland. I’m looking for something with a bit of sculpture or something about it

Any ideas welcomed - definitely have decision fatigue !

It is going to look lovely, I have two thoughts - first one is something similar to that of a capiz shell cluster pendant? It would add really nice texture to the space however, you would need to be careful on size.

If you want to keep with the 'moody' theme, something like this could be quite nice above the table:

You need a sparkly light no question to offset all the clean lines. The Conran Shop has some lovely examples or Holloways of Ludlow. I would be tempted to go for a more simple Danish style. The PH-7 would look great there. Try Industville too.

Tamp75, I’ve never really noticed the splash back before. It is a plain clear glass (or at least is supposed to be) but it does look a little aqua up close. Thank you all for the great suggestions, I like that they are quite diverse. I’m going to get testers of each and paint them onto lining paper. I may repost for opinions once I have the swatches.

Wow, thanks for the replies everyone... especially Minnie!!!!! I LOVE the first one you posted and that is exactly what I had in mind!! (The cabinet shelves at the very back of the picture!) I think they look incredibly stylish and I would imagine it will be much cheaper getting a carpenter making that instead of buying a complete (real wood) kitchen. Re the washing machine and dishwasher, yes I have these and don't mind them being on display. I also have marble worktops, hence wanting a solid base for them to go on. Is that first picture a deVol kitchen too? I wonder how much they could do one like that for?

Hello @Anna Dourado I did not see your furniture yet but I'd suggest you a bespoke lighting fixture above the dining table as the picture attached, metal structure chrome or dark gold brushed and light amber glasses or clear glasses, or only 3 pendants (metal + glass bubbles). Or a Classic Ceiling Lamp alway contemporary. About lighting for the bathroom I would like to see some pictures if possible of course. Regards Alberto www.turinadesign.com
