Comments (39)Jonathandb1972, I was thinking of going with a grout that is the same colour or lighter than the grey tile. The hex will be grouted in a medium grey. This has already been done in the loo (the hex) and looks great. Neither are grouted in the above picture. Do you think there will still be issues with where the grout lines are if they are the same or lighter than the tile? Also, where the hex tile in the shower meets the grey tile will mainly be covered by the shower's profile. However, the shower only goes up to about 2m, so there will still be a visible "meeting" of tiles above that. My builder is a little concerned about how this will look as he will have to cut small pieces of tile to fill up the edge, which may stain once they start grouting. Comments (14)Yep - it’s just a very good all round paint. It’s in our bedroom and en-suite too. I like it because it is a very flat matt. (We have Little Greene Intelligent Matt in our main bathroom, but only because i likes a particular colour). Mylands is expensive - slightly more than Farrow and Ball, however I always buy from Paint Depot online who are a tad cheaper and usually have an extra 10% offer too. (I get testers from my local Brewers though because I like to look at them!)...See MorePlease help me choose a neutral lovely white
Comments (11)Slaked Lime by Little Green is nice. I’ve used it on a couple of bookcases in eggshell. Much as I like it, it is not hardwearing at all and it has chipped a lot. One wall emulsion I recently used is Dulux Diamond Trade paint as it is tough. No scuffs or scrapes yet! Very tough paint. Lots of colours too so worth a look - look at Timeless or Goose Down....See More- 10 months ago
