Could we make the end wall of the office have a pass through on the dining room side and fill it with a wall like this. Put 2 sconces on the side with a mirror like this and the maple dining room table in front. Make this wall a 2x8 wall for the depth and add a bench for the dining room table like the cherry bench.

Where to do this.....how much work is it ?
Wrap the vertical end of the island in zinc, pot rack on inside with maybe a shelf and a step bookcase on the other side with the zinc behind the cookbooks.
