Reply to: LP I love my countertop and sinks. Sinks are blanco silgranite cinder colour. So glad I went with that colour. One of the best choices. I like the large single sink and the smaller one in island. Be sure to look at your stone in person. the Cambria suppliers (many Cabinetry places have them.) My cabinets are BM Simply White.

Reply to: From our prior color sample comparison, I suspect Paper White will work as well. From what I remember, Paper White has some hints of cooler tones. Cambria has warm flecks of color, but also little hints of cooler blues and grays as well, which seems to make it pretty versatile. We ended up going with Simply White (which has slight warmer tones) since it matched some of the other warm toned fixtures in the rest of our home -- and we used simply white on our walls as well. We've generally been pretty happy with the result! Also note the color has a lot to do with the ambient lighting as well. If you equip warmer or cooler lighting in your kitchen, white cabinets will tend to mirror that.

Reply to: My lakedale was 2cm thick, you can order 3cm for an additional cost. I opted to add a 2cm lip to the edges. There was not an additional cost for that. I also had my back splash done in the 2 cm lakedale.

Reply to: My husband and I are doing a remodel. We are looking the MSI quartz. Calcatta Laza, Calcatta Venice and a couple of Granites. After reading this thread, we set off to do our own experiments. Top left is hot sauce, bottom left cherry kool-aid and on the right the infamous pink.post it note.

Reply to: You’re not asking me,but they won’t look yellow. Lakedale is beautiful. Cambria uses their own installers and does a beautiful job. Here are my two seams. I asked the guy who measured to make sure my slab was busy. He did. I love it.

Reply to: We wanted Lakedale, but they said we would have to buy another slab if we wanted veining to run same way through out conters. (we have a J shaped kitchen) So we decided on Dovestone. I attached a photo of Calacatta Arno (not Cambria) to gove you you an idea of how Lakedale would look in at least one corner, veining would not line up unless another slab was purchaed by us.
