Kitchen
I think this looks a little heavy, but I wonder if something "two-tiered" like this where there's a 1. frieplace section 2. above section where the tv goes 3 third section of stone or other, might be interesting in our space. I know we have a lot of negative space above the built ins, and that will contrast sharply with the kitchen cabinets that hit the ceiling. Maybe taking the mantle up creates and interesting back and forth? (but I think this particular one is too heavy) - jeff
