My house is a "C model". Here is a view of the open concept living room. I will have a sink on the island. My house will have a wall instead of slats.

C model kitchen gourmet upgrade; mine will have a sink where the stove top is and a 5 burner range where the sink is in this view. I will not have the oven stack as shown.

C model living/dining. My garage is not detached as shown here. I'm thinking of white linen draperies across the back wall, and woven wooden up-down shades on the side window

C model. I'm going with white walls and white cabinets and similar floors. I won't have these side windows, as my attached garage is on that side of the house.

Starting with the kitchen, which is literally in the center of the home. I generally love the feel here. Modern white cabinets, stainless appliances, white backsplash (hexagon mosaics?), warm grey/brown countertop, and wood floors and accents.

Finally decided on grey subway tile backsplash and a marble-look counter top.

Moving to window treatments. My house has similar windows throughout - big windows in this configuration along with smaller windows.

On the smaller windows in the living/dining and bedrooms, I'm thinking woven wooden shades. Here are linen curtains and shades together.

Off the entry is a bath with a small shower. One of the standard floor tile options is similar to this. I'm thinking of white subway tiles in the shower, with grey grout, with a white cabinet and either standard white quartz counter or a marble look.

Because the powder room and the kitchen are so close, having the same cabinets would be preferable - so white modern cabinet and subway tiles with grey grout it is. Note to self: make sure the tile goes to the ceiling

Niche for the 1st floor shower

Mudroom and baths will have this tile, in a running bond. Also with a white bench and hooks. (Laundry is up stairs).

The stairs to the second floor start at entry way. I'm going to carry the wood floor on the stairway, similar to this photo, probably in a golden hue.
