All three of these species will work fine in a 4 season climate. All three of these species are regularly used everywhere from Boston to Denver to Chicago to Palm Springs, to Miami. Really can't go wrong with any of the three. If choosing Cumaru or Garapa our recommendation would be to use a 5/4 board. If Ipe you can use 1x or 5/4x. It has been our experience that 5/4 Garapa and Cumaru are more stable in variable climates than 1x Cumaru and Garapa. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any more questions!
