Inspiration for a contemporary living room in Paris.

This is work in progress. The brief was to make the space Scandinavian in style with a contemporary twist. The chimney has been let exposed as a feature to the ensuite. Grey stone tiles create a soft warm floor underfoot. The wooden cladding has been continued through here using a narrower board to ensure it doesn't crowd the space. It has been specially treated so that it is both waterproof and doesn't turn silvery as cedar does if left untreated. The teak sink unit compliments the cedar finish beautifully and is a great setting for the stone basin. Work is currently being carried out on the sauna which will be through the door into the other side of the eaves. Copper accessories have been used to compliment the warm tones of the brick and wood. A truly relaxing haven worlds apart from the space it was previously. Clare Crabtree

These floating timber stairs are in the process of being completed. The timber in this staircase is Durian. We have sanded the stairs and stained the timber with Feast Watson – Black Japan. We have then finished with a polyurethane satin finish. These floating stairs are very popular in all different types of houses.
