About Us

We are Wood & Wire, an award winning team of furniture and kitchen designers and craftsmen, inspired by modernism and passionate about quality. Our products are produced from birch plywood, designed and built with modern living in mind whilst challenging the flat-packed, mass-produced trend when it comes to longevity, style and value. Because we have high exacting standards we get a bit funny if something’s one millimetre proud or half a degree out, this ensures our pieces are extremely well made. The combination of this, and the quality materials we use, give you a product that withstands modern life’s wear and tear and last generations to come. So if you want a well designed and unique kitchen or piece of furniture and whether you’re clear about your needs or happy for us to lead the design, the bespoke option is where it’s at. With its falling-down bookshelves and lack of cupboard space, our attic room had been frustrating me for ages. As soon as Wood & Wire came to look at it, I felt confident they were the right people to turn my half-baked ideas for improvement into something really wonderful. Their sensitivity and great design eye were obvious from the start and it’s been a joy to work with them. They’re really lovely people – considerate and friendly, willing to go many extra miles to get things exactly right, and both their quality craftmanship and love of a beautiful design aesthetic shine through everything they do. I’m delighted with the outcome!

I knew I had found the perfect kitchen when I peered through the window of Wood and Wire on a hot sunny evening. A combination of style, simplicity and quality ended my two year search for the perfect kitchen for our very modest 1960's semi. Every stage of the process from initial discussion, site visit, design development to final installation has been brilliant. We are so happy with our wood and wire bespoke kitchen. It certainly has the 'wow' factor. The quality of workmanship is second to none and the company is fantastic to work with. It's a dream kitchen designed and built by a dream team. Would thoroughly recommend Wood & Wire to anyone, but shh..don't tell everyone!

Wood and Wire designed and built a new kitchen for our extension. The process was very personal and we really got to know the design team. Wood and Wire's experience of design, styling and installing kitchens made the process all the more easy as we were helped with choices around layout, colour, materials, fixture and fittings. They went far beyond their brief too, working with the builders and tradesmen constructing the extension that the kitchen is fitted into
