The Peevers | Teak Kitchen | Hebden

This teak kitchen blends warmth, sustainability, and mid-century charm into a beautifully balanced, thoughtful space. Crafted with eco teak veneer over birch ply cabinetry, the design delivers both conscience and character, a kitchen that not only looks good but does good.

Designed for a family craving calm, natural materials and a clutter-free layout, the kitchen wraps around two sides of an open-plan dining area. Along one wall, you’ll find integrated Siemens ovens, a flush gas hob, and slimline overhead cabinets that keep the space feeling light and airy. Below, deep handleless drawers maintain clean, uninterrupted lines and offer ample storage.

Opposite, a long run of low cabinetry sits beneath striking black-framed mullion windows and a Franke tap, dedicated to prep and storage. Behind the dining table, a splash of patterned wall tiles adds a playful, eye-catching backdrop that contrasts beautifully with the teak’s natural grain and the understated white quartz worktops.

The open dining area is grounded by a warm timber table and classic spindle-back chairs, continuing the natural material palette and seamlessly tying the space together. Subtle plant styling softens the room’s edges, while integrated shelving keeps favourite cookbooks and objects close by but neatly out of the way.

This is a kitchen that doesn’t try too hard — and absolutely delivers. Practical, elegant, and full of timeless touches, it proves that minimalist doesn’t have to mean sterile, and natural doesn’t have to mean rustic. Just quality materials, smart design, and a whole lot of heart.
