This calm kitchen renovation in Mytholmroyd marked a special milestone for Wood & Wire, as we partnered with our architect clients to create a space where form, function, and aesthetics flow together seamlessly.

At the heart of the home sits a beautifully crafted kitchen featuring oak-veneered plywood, infusing the space with warmth and natural character. The kitchen delivers top-tier functionality with an integrated twin oven and a Fisher & Paykel French door fridge with drawer freezer, perfectly tailored to meet the client’s lifestyle.

A pristine white Corian work surface paired with an under-mounted stainless steel double sink and tap introduces a sleek, modern contrast to the warm timber tones. The peninsular unit, fitted with a Bora Pure hob, offers a practical and stylish workspace, while the cantilevered breakfast bar, with seating for two, creates a cosy nook for morning coffee or evening wine and conversation. Thoughtful touches like a floating shelf above the sink and an open box shelf above the peninsula enhance the kitchen’s airy, uncluttered feel.

Beyond the kitchen, we extended our craftsmanship throughout the home to create a cohesive, calm atmosphere. In the hallway, we installed floating oak-veneered plywood shelving in the alcove facing the stairs, providing both display and storage. In the living room, we designed a wall-to-wall oak-veneered sliding door media console bench with integrated LP storage, complemented by floating shelves on the double-height wall above, balancing practicality with visual impact.
