The Potters were lucky enough to design and build their own house and the kitchen's plywood structure and oak veneer finish, with pops of bright colour perfectly complemented the modern feel they wanted. Aside from the drawer of tea and a fantastically useful pantry cupboard, the shelves are their favourite thing. Not only do they give the family somewhere to display mugs cards and vases but they give a definition to the open plan room the kitchen sits in.
