This full house renovation in Lancashire gave us the chance to bring colour, craft, and clever design together for a growing family. Working closely with the Robsons, we created a home that’s full of personality, purpose and warmth.

At the heart of the project is a bold plywood kitchen, where deep green, minty blue-green and bright yellow laminate meet oak-veneered birch ply. The central island includes open shelving and doubles as a family hub for food prep, conversation and casual meals. Integrated Siemens appliances and handleless cabinetry keep everything sleek and clutter-free.

The rest of the home was just as carefully considered. A utility room with vibrant yellow cabinets adds practical storage for laundry and chores, while a discreet pantry with seamless push-to-open doors and open shelving stores everything from recipe books to everyday essentials. A custom-built shoe rack helps keep the family’s entryway organised and accessible.

One of the project’s standout features is the sweeping oak plywood staircase. More than just a structural element, it becomes a centrepiece of the home’s design. Oak slatted room dividers echo this material palette and help define spaces without sacrificing flow or light.

Custom joinery continues throughout the home. Built-in toy storage, colourful cabinetry, and playful cut-out handles bring both fun and function to each room. Every detail was designed to work with the family’s lifestyle and reflect their love of bright, confident design.
