With its lively injection of orange, the Ponsonby’s black and white plywood kitchen was really brought to life in their new kitchen-dining extension. Their expansive U-shaped kitchen contains lots of pull-out units and drawers; a feature that’s becoming more popular than standard cupboards because finding and reaching their contents is just so easy. We housed all of the kitchen’s tall units deep in the corner to minimise their intrusion on the scheme, at the same time positioning the hob to overlook the dining area for that perfect cooking/chatting combination. Because music and entertainment really matter to the Ponsonbys, we even introduced a built-in media unit, capable of housing a large selection of entertainment media and accessories.
