Embarking on our latest project in York, Wood & Wire proudly unveils a vivid kitchen renovation that’s bursting with boldness, personality, and practical design, perfectly reflecting our client’s vibrant vision.

The heart of this kitchen is a striking palette of bright sunny yellow, sleek black laminated plywood, and playful green accents, creating a space that radiates energy and individuality. Integrated appliances, including a twin oven, warming drawer, and coffee maker, ensure the kitchen is as functional as it is beautiful, delivering a seamless, high-performance cooking experience. A clever pocket door breakfast larder adds practical storage without disrupting the sleek lines, offering hidden convenience within the bold design.

For the work surfaces, the client chose the timeless elegance of white Corian, paired with an under-mounted stainless steel sink and tap for a modern, sophisticated finish. The kitchen’s focal point, a generous island unit, features open illuminated shelving, adding warmth and depth to the room. Adjacent to the island, an overlapping high-level oak dining table and chairs invite conversation, connection, and casual dining, making the kitchen as sociable as it is stylish.

Extending beyond the kitchen, we brought our creative expertise into a functional yet playful utility and boot room. Here, juicy tones of orange and blue laminated plywood infuse the space with energy, while overhead storage cupboards, hanging hooks, and a bench with integrated shoe storage deliver clever, everyday solutions for busy family life.
