She helped us navigate and plan the layout of our kitchen, living and dining extension, and the whole process has been so much easier thanks to her expertise. She initially created two different layout options, both incorporating my non-negotiables and wish list, giving us the opportunity to compare different approaches. Once we’d chosen our preferred design, Emily was brilliant at taking on board all of my feedback and making thoughtful amendments until everything felt just right. The level of detail she provided was incredible. From the placement of cutlery drawers and bins to lighting plans, planting suggestions and reference images, every element had been carefully considered. She really listened to what we were trying to achieve and came up with ideas that I would never have thought of myself but now couldn’t imagine doing without. We’re still in the early planning stages of our build, but Emily has already made such a positive impact. “I employed Dave at Hurricane Herbert to revamp my 2 bed apartment I bought last year, and reorganise the layout and space, as a few things weren’t working for me. He came out for the half day consultancy, changed the orientation of my master bedroom, moved the location of my couch in the lounge and came up with a soft furnishings and wall treatment design. He then remotely helped me purchase a couch and a new dining table. His team is to redo the family bathroom in the near future.
