Blown away by the quality of craftsmanship and project management of our large scale design, rip out and installation of new kitchen, utility room and living room. We enlisted Neil Norton Design to carry out the work and are extremely happy with the end result. We live locally and always walked passed and admired Neil's kitchens, now we have one. Currently 6 months behind schedule, my project still isn't finished. Neil Norton refuses to make amends to poorly fitted kitchen furniture (photos and videos available upon request). Kitchen appliances were installed 4 weeks late despite being paid for 3 months prior to the planned installation date. Communication from Neil Norton during this period was poor. I was left in the dark and while I received many excuses, I struggled to get an apology for the delay. Emails demonstrating his lack of urgency and poor manners are also available upon request. Our kitchen plan included an antique mirrored splash back that was to be custom made and fitted by one of Neil Norton's suppliers. This was also delayed, by 4 months. After being 3 months, I contacted the supplier and paid him directly and he completed the job within 3 weeks. Neil Norton was forced to refund the money that I paid him 4 months prior. Neil Norton lacked professionalism during all of the above issues. I am very disappointed after paying premium prices for what I hoped would be our dream kitchen.

I had a new kitchen done by OPD. The craftsmanship and quality of the units is superb. Being an old house my kitchen had lots of uneven walls and strange nooks and crannies and the cabinets were all made bespoke and seamlessly fit into the strange alcoves and sloping ceilings. As a result the kitchen appears to have grown in all dimensions - and certainly the ceiling seems higher. The bar table that has been built is spectacular. Neil put far more emphasis on the design to make it a feature than any other kitchen design company I had looked at - and it shows in the results. Neil also recommended me to suppliers to source my tiles, electrics and personally took me to choose my granite at a supplier. For a totally bespoke kitchen I felt the prices were reasonable and certainly not out of line with far more cookie cutter top end kitchen companies which wouldn't have provided the bespoke service with local craftsman. I would certainly look to use OPD for other projects - would love them to build some new tables, wardrobes etc.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Neil and his team. He provided us with easy-to-understand advice about the design and technical aspects of the project from beginning to end. Even the production and installation of the kitchen was stress free; they kept us informed every step of the way.
