Dabrovska Design

We can't speak highly enough of Joanna. We have recently purchased our Battersea apartment and were looking to find someone who understood our aesthetic and was willing to work with us (virtually) as we are based abroad. We spoke to several designers, one of which was Dabrovska Design. We felt she had an immediate understanding of what we wanted to do. There were certain features of the apartment which we wanted to preserve and not design something which clashed too much with the rest of the house. Joanna got it straight away. Joanna had some great ideas to integrate the areas very nicely, along with the curved winter garden. It was a bit of a challenge as the space may seem small to work with. After the initial visit she proposed different design concepts of which we were able to choose one and integrate ideas from the other concepts as necessary. The whole process of arriving at final designs was a pleasure and all I can say is that there was a meeting of minds. It was a true pleasure working with you Joanna, cant wait for future (bigger projects) to come along.

Joanna did a fantastic job of transforming my rental property into a stylish modern furnished apartment resulting in a good quality durable finish and a significant rent increase. The brief was to create a beautiful looking relatively neutral space with a limited budget that could appeal to any tenant and would require low upkeep. Every element of the flat needed replacing over an 8 week project. Joanna shared design proposals to help me choose the style and then produced detailed design drawings for the builder to work from. She sourced and ordered all the materials including paint colours, flooring, tiles, kitchen and furniture. Joanna was an impressive project manager, managing the build from start to finish at a very detailed level. She developed a project plan and kept the builder to it. Tradespeople responded well to working with her. She visited the property regularly enough to ensure good progress and keep me informed. She advised on trades invoices and kept a detailed project payment log to inform my accounts. We corresponded primarily by email with the occasional call. This enabled me to have relatively light involvement myself, and able to follow up at times that suited me (as working full time and also on holiday during this time) whilst having full confidence in the development. I would highly recommend employing Joanna as a designer and project manager. She is amazing. She will produce stunning results and is a pleasure to work with.

I worked with Joanna remotely while decorating my overseas apartment. It was a great help to have her support in selecting furnishing and artwork to achieve a beautiful space and enhance what was already there. I was initially nervous about spending money on a designer, but it turned out to be the best investment I've made. I can't recommend her enough and I hope to work with her on a new apartment I'm planning to invest in!

Joanna commissioned us to make a live-edge kitchen table for her clients new build apartment on Battersea Bridge Road. The bespoke design of the top as well as the legs meant that good communication was paramount. Joanna is a talented interior designer and was highly professional and generally great to work with from beginning to end of the project. Handmade in Brighton sincerely hope to work with Dabrovska Design again on future projects!

I would highly recommend Joanna Dabrowska to anyone thinking of using her interior design services. Having recently worked with Joanna on a complete renovation of my Georgian apartment in London, I found that her design skills, market knowledge and attention to detail were outstanding. The project was quite complex but dealt with very smoothly. Each stage was supported with well presented and easy to understand design and M&E drawings and schedules. Even some of the subcontractors expressed how impressed they were with their quality. I didn't have an architect involved on the project but Joanna provided a great assistance with obtaining planning permission for the windows and designed all aspects of interior architecture from rearranging the walls to bespoke internal doors, joinery and finishes. I am also thrilled that furnishing and decorative lighting has been carefully considered from the onset, which resulted in beautifully considered and original space.

It was such a pleasure working with Dabrovska Design. Joanna worked personally with us, taking the time to understand our lifestyle and preferences, and came up with a design for our home that was practical and luxurious. Her patience allowed us to iterate over the plans and materials, ensuring complete satisfaction at the end of the project. I met Joanna Dabrowska as her graphic design consultant while she was working on a presentation for a complex interior design project. Although she was specialised in a totally different branch of the design business I soon realised I had a chance to work with a person that had strongly developed ideas. I was particularly impressed with her attention to the details. Later on as I had a chance to know here even better I've asked her to completely arrange the flat I just moved to. She did an amazing job: while keeping the overall design very functional and modern she managed to bring a great deal of warmth into the place. Therefore, I strongly recommend her; besides being a very talented young professional she is also a very nice person to work with and a good colleague.
