ignoring my appalling photo editing skills do you think this is on the right track?
Comments (30)Hi Applepieorder - Ah well. The office is painted and was looking quite nice until I had sixteen boxes of files arrive from a client and the kids decided that Mummy's office was definitely the best place to build a lego star wars battle ground during the rainy school holidays because they love the new soft rug! They have all been camping overnight and so when they arrive back I'm making them clear it all up. I'll then post pictures! I need to find some nice roman blinds to soften it and I definitely need a woodburner installing since it gets cold and running the electric heaters is costing a fortune. My biggest problem is that I have too many projects on the go at once (well that and the fact that I don't yet have the money to tackle everything!!)...See MoreWhat do you think I should do about this old dresser?
Comments (25)wow stellahome, what a grand house and entrance! I'm intrigued! Do you have many original features left in the house? servant bells maybe? :) Post some pictures for us! I am very familiar with lassco, in fact I currently live 5 mins away from there, and pop in often, they have many wonderful items which really enhance an old house. Took a couple of more pictures today of the dresser, as even though it looks very worn, look at the dovetail joint details! They certainly don't make them like this anymore (unless you pay a hefty price for it!)...See MoreSatin chrome kitchen cupboard door knobs with polished chrome taps?
Comments (1)I find that chrome and satin go perfectly together as they are both metal colour, what wouldn't go is if you have a metal that is slightly golden or something, but I think the metal and metal go together fine! You won't even notice that you have satin knobs and a chrome tap, I promise, I have that in my kitchen. Good luck....See MoreWhat colour should i paint my cottage and front door.
Comments (21)What a great decision to have to make, I wish I lived on a colourful street. Lucky you. I like either the salmon pink of the first photo or the palest pink of the second photo. I’d stick to white for the door. Keep us updated with what you decide, I don’t think you can go wrong with most colours but I wouldn’t want to be the boring one in the row...See MoreBryan Lip
