Ideally you need some clear worktop space near a FF and a Pantry - so you can load and unload easily ... This could be next to them or an island near by - think coming in from the supermarket - dumping the bags and unpacking etc ... Also 540 is less common size for a FF so it may be wise to allow yourself a small filler that can be removed if/when you need to replace the appliance which will allow a 600mm space as this is a more available width .

hi, my sister in law has a very similar sized kitchen to u and shebhasbso much storage she even has empty cupboards!! she put her sink infront of the windowbwith the hob opposite, to the left of the hob shebhas a tall unit with her ovens in it and the otherside she has her fridge and then 2 base units and 2glass display wall units. on the far wall to the right of her sink she has wall units, and to the left of her sink she has a stretch of worktop similar to ur plan which leads to a peninsular island that steps down from her worktop height to create a table. would love to see some pics of what plan you go with and the finished result

You can use an independent like me - or there are even a few popping up on Houzz too now that aren't tied to a product. That way you work with a designer to get the layout just how you want - then shop around to get it supplied at the right price ! It's a slightly different way of doing it - but some might agree it's a bit kinder to retailers than spending time with them for a 'free design' when you don't really want to buy from them ! This way you walk in to which ever showroom, big or small, and ask for their best price ! Often they will offer to discount your design costs if you ask them ! Obviously if you choose to go ahead and buy from them - most will then pop over to do their own measure up etc ! But until then - you do you own measuring and don't have to have a stream of different sales /planning people trying to sell you things !

The gap to the right hand side of the range should be filled with the unit that you already have there. It should go right into the corner and have a door on half of it if that makes sense. So depending on the length, a 1000mm straight corner base carcass will most likely have a 400mm door on it which means to access the corner you will have to kneel down. When I plan corners I always try to fit in a 900L shaped corner base which means you can access the whole corner as it has 2 x 316mm wide doors. In your situation with the range there you don’t have room to do this. I presume I’m reading the image correctly.
