Hi I have just moved in a new place and the plaster work around the down lights is a bit rough (see photo) I was wondering is this an easy DIY fix, if so how to go about it or will I need to call a professional
You can pull down the spot and fill it with a good quality filler (painters would use one they mix themselves) then let it set & sand. Repeat if necessary.
You can also buy rings to go behind the downlight making them a few millimeters wider if you can find them in the same finishing it would a quick and easy fix
