How do you create that interior?

I'm looking to do something like this in our home under construction and so far my builder has put me in touch with vendors that offer only prefab fire boxes that simulate the look of brick. How was this fireplace interior created? Is this just a very good prefab or actual masonry and where could I get something similar? Thank you!

This is a masonry built fireplace with fire brick applied to the inside of the box. You can also do a prefabricated unit from Isokern that allows the same type of fire brick to be used. It gives you this look for less money.

Hi Danni we have a north facing hall with a tendency to be dark in spite of a glass door and window, however we painted the hall in F&B White Tie , installed more lighting and painted all the woodwork white plus an oak Amtico floor. Now much warmer, continued the yellow base with F&B White Tie, New White painted furniture and Matchstick feature wall in the adjacent lounge so it flows.

Thank you both for your comments. The house was built in 2000. Probably easier to send picture of the progress in our kitchen so far. We also have an island with seating to be put in and was thinking of a grey gloss one but will probably stick to white (too worried about getting it wrong)!. Neolith will go on that too but no wrapping just sitting on top. We wanted a floor that we could take into the hall and other downstairs rooms and thought the gloss tiles would give the hall a lift ... We're keeping the wall colours in the hallway. All advice welcome. Thank you
