Am pretty sure that if I was a kitchen designer I wouldn't spend hours working out the cost of a kitchen that likely won't fit. However I have met several who could tell you if the budget you have in mind is enough to fill the space and perhaps direct you to some of the cabinet and worktop choices in your budget so that you can start to get excited about eventually planning your kitchen. It might even be possible for the company you choose to visit the house to measure with the current owners permission. What area are you in? Perhaps people could offer recommendations for kitchen studios?

Hi, I agree. The fridge is in the wrong position and those shelves in the corner won't be particularly useful, and will be difficult to access. I think, from looking at your measurements, that there isn't enough room to put the fridge to the right of the window on the same wall? If not, I think I would put it at the other end of that window wall, and then put a base corner unit and wall cupboards on the other end (where corner shelves are on your 3D plan). thanks I won't be able to go as long as 2800, 2400 would probably be too long and impact on the other seating area but 2200 is ideal, also Im allowing 1m for depth as I was told that u need 300mm to sit comfortably. my only concern is how the island will look if the drawers are only 600mm deep with an overhang of 300mm on the far side prefer it when it looks more filled in but then I can't fit 3/4 stools around the island ie 3 on the length and 1 on the far end. any suggestions.

Hi Wilde07, What size is your room? how many sides have kitchen furniture on? What depth is the kitchen furniture? Where abouts in the world are you ? (As different code for different countries) ... if you can post a sketch plan showing appliance approx positions too that will help us advise.
