Hi Lucie, Those are gorgeous curtains! I think a warm, earthy toned lampshade would bring out the colours in the fabric. How about a light grey, or a mossy green? The Cirque from Louis Poulsen brings a lot of the accent colours together in one lampshade. Cirque Pendant Lightyears has a great range of lamps, like this Mingus pendant. It comes in several lovely earth tones. Mingus Pendant The Caravaggio Matt range is a classic design, also in several warm tones. Forzaitalia it was incredibly simple; paper lampshade , feathers from ebay, glue gun. It was about as difficult as sticking a stamp on a letter.

The current lampshade looks slightly too big to me. The general guidance suggests the width of the shade should equal the visible height of the stand, and the height of the shade about 2/3 of it’s width. Although sometimes it’s good to break rules 😁
