Small wardrobe design

So we currently have a long skinny walk in wardrobe in our master bedroom but have decided in our renovations to cut it off and turn the back half into a hallway cupboard, accessible on the widest edge in the hallway. This will make this space a lot more useable but it leaves us with a 1084 wide wardrobe space to fit out in our bedroom. Not sure how deep to make it? Advice? In the fit out I want two short hangs ontop of each other then a smaller width of long hang beside. Underneath the long hang a drawer or a shelf and a bit of space on bottom for shoes. Have looked at elfa storage. What are other options you would recommend in NZ? Also anything else I should consider?
