Hi there, I would definitely go for glass & not tiles. Glass is much easier to keep clean!

As for colours, if you have French grey units you could look at a slightly iridescent silver which would compliment well. Be careful with some colours if you are going to be a bit bolder as they will reflect & alter the appearance of the French grey on the cabinets. Get some samples & look at them in different areas under the units - the corners will look darker/lighter depending on natural light & if you have recessed lighting under the units.

You could choose the glass panel or tiles. Nowadays we have plenty of freedom to choose what we like as there are so many options available.

With some light installations you can enhance your space and give a perfect finish to it.

I think your grey cabinet would go perfectly with some warm colour.

Hello there. If you fancy something a bit bolder to make a design statement, you could take a look at our splashbacks - they are handmade fused glass, and we have several designs to choose from (or you can even commission your own). Our "Jade" pattern above would complement your greeny grey units.

With this style of kitchen you would want to keep it quite simple, think of the maintenance also. Grout lines can look really busy with small tiles, they are a bit difficult to clean also. A nice glass single piece splash back would offer a clean finish, easy to look after and would keep its look for many more years. It would have to be templated before hand to allow for plug sockets. If you are looking to add a little interest to your splashback, we have had clients in the past use wallpaper underneath a transparent protective covering - it looks pretty amazing!

In the past I've just used heat resistant toughened glass and simply painted the back of the glass with a roller. You don't have to be 'that' particular as any minor bumps in the paint won't show through. It has always worked for me and the clients love it. Great too as you can match up the paint exactly with the walls/units etc.
