I have a traditional style nickel framed bed and I have white painted bedside tables to create a sort of Laura Ashley country look. They were from The Cotswold Company. I think you can just about see them in this pic! It does depend on the style of the bed though.

Looks like a good solid bed. Good idea to have the wardrobes painted, they look good apart from the colour and the handles (sorry). Could be worth changing them. Re bedside tables, I’m generally not a great fan of matching them (to the bed), but feel this is personal preference and getting mismatching right is not easy. I‘m sure others here will further advise. 😊

My kind of style! I think painted bedside tables would sit well with your bed and furniture. Are you looking for French country style as your choices are very much in that style? Here’s some I found. They’re not cheap but look lovely. The Cotswold Company sell some nice painted and unpainted country furniture which is a little more affordable.
