Which tile?
Comments (12)Good morning Sarah, I like both tiles as well but if you are going for timeless and elegant I believe the marble tile is more appropriate. That being said I think it would be even better if it was a matte finish. Your kitchen already has a lot of "shiny" materials so I am not sure that adding more is a good idea as it could quickly look a little over the top. So my ideal would be a matte white marble metro tile. Hope that helps, Anthony....See MoreWhich tiles with these cabinets?
Comments (11)Which shade of beige..... I would go for something more obviously a different shade if you are worrying about matching tiles under the shadow of overhead same coloured cabinets. Cream is not going to look the same under different lights, so either don't worry, or go for contrast is my opinion on this one. However, the right side tile in the last photo is a warmer colour, but not necessarily when lit under the cabinet, and not forgetting the same photo of the cabinet looks a bit green under the lighting/photo result.... or were you wearing a green top and it reflected?......See MoreWhich tiles/handles suit our new kitchen?
Comments (6)I love sage green. I’ve just had fascias replaced in our bathroom in this colour (well, when I say ‘just had’ I mean the doors are sitting there waiting to be fitted 😆). I’ve opted for green knobs on mine, but it’s a bathroom not a kitchen. Granted I had to do some thinking about whether to go for black, stainless steel or green. Do you actually need wall tiles or could you just go with an upstand to match the worktops? What colour worktops have you opted for? Regarding floor tiles it’s a minefield of choice out there. All depends on personal choice....See MoreWhich tile trim should I use?
Comments (5)I would definitely go with a tile trim that matches the tiles, so light grey would be best. My bathroom has been completing refurbished and we used a Carrera marble effect tile with a light grey tile trim. It looks beautiful. We also have chrome taps. Good luck on whatever colour you decide on....See More- 11 years ago
