Hi Kim, your bathroom looks pretty compact, so my humble suggestion would be to tile only the bath/shower section and leave the other walls free of tiles - it will make the space look bigger and brighter. And maybe you could have the metro tiles laid vertically to give the space a bit different look rather than going for the usual horizontal pattern. Maybe some kind of tile trim? Most of them fit half under the tiles to secure them. Or plastic strips like window fitters use to tidy up gaps. Something like this but tile shops will have a selection.
