Kitchen units - where from?

Hi, does anyone recognise the style of these kitchen units & where they might be from? They were installed in our kitchen not long before we moved in & have an odd beveled edge. I don't particularly like the shape but I need a similar tall unit. As this will become our utility I'm not overly bothered on the style but thought it best to match in if possible. Thanks.

Alno? Do the drawers have a label? Hinges are supplied from a universal ironmongery so disregard their brand.

Thank you - you've helped solved the problem! They're not Alno but I did find a Crown Imperial label on one of the drawers. I'd checked everywhere else - underside of cabinets, etc but not all the drawers. Unfortunately I've just checked their range & it looks like they don't have this design anymore but at least I now know. I guess any plain white gloss unit will be ok with it. Thanks again.

It's Schuller and the designer only drew what I wanted. He hasn't given me any alternative layouts yet. Do you think they will make another design for me before I sign the contract? To be honest, It's been so so hard for choosing a kitchen brand because of people's attitude in the North East. I went to Howdens and Wren as well as Bespoke but the owner of Howdens wasn't nice and didn't give me any information because I asked for a business account and mentioned about my builder who has a very good partnership with him. So he didn't want to give me any prices. Wren's designer was very rude and had a terrible attitude but I quite liked Wren's true handleless design only if I had a well mannered designer. Bespoke designer was very experienced and quite liked but they don't make true handleless. Also he said I have to be committed other than that he wouldn't give me any quote and if I am not buying it's wasting his time. I couldn't believe he said that. Lastly, I went to Schuller and I expected that it will be very expensive but it was actually a lot less than Wren and designer and the owner was so polite and quality in my eyes was very good. All in all quite happy with them except they don't make custom sizes.

Ellie - what don’t you like about the design you have had done in a shop ? If you have a prep island too - that solves the lack of worktop issue ? The boiler and WM are hidden in the tall cabinet I assume ? It all looks workable to me - did you ask for a drainer on the sink? If you changed that for no drainer - it would give you more worktop - and you could use drainer matts if you ever washed up by hand. That way you could have longer walk cabinets over the current drainer too for more storage.

Tall units up to the ceiling can look very nice, although would function as displays mostly. Honestly standard height kitchen wall units wouldn't concern me, they might accentuate the height which is not a bad thing at all. Alternatively if you have enough storage in the base units why not skip wall units altogether? Open shelves or even nothing, just a stunning splashback

@Gabby Wong @obobble @OnePlan (Concept planners) Thanks all! Bruises subsiding ;-) It's just so overwhelming - the number of decisions to make, and the desire to make it just perfect. Having lived with a kitchen that we installed 19 years ago that has most definitely NOT worked for us I am beyond excited about a new and practical space. This is part of a much bigger ground floor remodel and I have spent many many hours thinking and discussing options with different and unbiased kitchen designers, friends with perfect and imperfect kitchens, and friends who know our kitchen and how I use it. There are many restrictions in the space - as there are in all kitchens but we are getting something close to ideal now. I have written down everything I use in the kitchen that stored everything - on paper - in the new one - considering carefully how and where it is and will be used. So silly things like where do I hang tea towels to dry when there isn't a radiator in the kitchen area shouldn't give me worry lines - I know when it is installed there will be an end of unit where I can do this. but that doesn't stop me thinking about it! The image that the designer sent is not perfect we both know - software limitations - and I will definitely ask them to install either the combi oven or single oven at low or under counter height - that's what our current oven is, so bending down to take out my turkey isn't a big deal - as you say, safer than standing on the dusty IKEA toddler stool. And the top of that unit can hold the glasses - my other worry line creator. Anyway, your thoughts and ideas are helping hone the design. But for now, we're sticking with the american F/F - impractical, over-priced, sticky outy - but I rather like the industrial look and lines to break up the fitted kitchen-ness.
