HiTino Felly, Marie Here. Your off to a great start - but you've made a common mistake in that you've found your inspiration for your colour palette, but your not committing to it. You need to bring the greens and blues up onto the walls and onto the floor - commit to it. You could: - add a great throw rug underneath the bed, - add big table lamp beside the bed - or better yet, a wall sconce, - drapery isn't really the best choice for this bedding - I would have brought in a bold graphic print here, in either the blue or the green - artwork can stay neutral - even do a collection of mixed metals in chrome, gold, and have fun with that - if you add too much in the blue and green it becomes boring and un-special. Choose your accessories carefully, I'd change out your drapery - go with something bolder, I'd also get a larger night stand so you could put a proper table lamp there. Good Luck!

Hello Tom, It's a good one and means I can't vote as I have a Jackboot in both camps! (which you haven't allowed for) Paint is soo fantastic and I tend to think colour rather than white..but... that's only because I have had white floors for 10 years.. so need a change... Stain is gr8 if you want to go dark and have a grainy feel... Dark wood paint too is fantastic.. especially electric blue and other wonderments... So it really does depend on the aesthetic preference and what else is happening in the room... : ))

Thanks all for your help, we haven't got underfloor heating and I have two very messy boys especially with water so I think engineered wood is out and so are real tiles as they would be so cold. Its a north facing room so I'm very aware I need to warm the look of the room up as the grey and the white walls are looking very stark now. Karndean, amtico and poyflor are the companies i'll look at then. Has anyone used polyflor? They seem much cheaper than the other two companies? And oneplan would grey flooring look weird against the grey wood Worktop? Bit too matchy? I'd like to go a bit more modern Scandi kitchen. Unfortunately my husband likes country style hence the kitchen handles and look we chose. But now I want to warm it up a bit and give it a more Scandi look?! Thanks for your help

I agree, would try swapping the snuggle chair and sofa and move the tv to the other side of the fire. I’d also move the chair in the bay and angle it towards the seating and add a Kentia palm. You could try both a larger rug and larger table lamp. I’ve posted this cushion before but thought you may like it and it introduces another colour. I might add a coffee table and rearrange art slightly but would be good to see how the layout changes work. You have some lovely things, they just need adding to in terms of accessories? I can’t get into F&B website atm and not famIliar with their new whites but maybe schoolhouse white would work? I’d paint the frieze and the piece above it too
