Very nice - I like how you repeat the circular shapes with the wallpaper and the chandelier and the lamp base. It's a nice juxtaposition to all the horizontal lines.

As Hampstead Design Hub suggested, shutters are a popular choice for a bay window, as they really do make a feature of the windows. They're also great for privacy, as these types of windows are often at the front of a property. Alternatively, Roller blinds or even Vertical blinds are a popular choice too. And although you say there isn't room for curtains on the left hand side, there may be room for dress curtains. This could create a really luxurious effect. Hiya, This looks like an exciting development for you - I bet you can't wait to get sorted! As for the windows and door, I think it's probably best to dress them separately as there is a sizeable gap between them: you don't want your room to feel like it is encompassed by blinds or curtains. Floor length curtains are a great way to achieve a sumptuous look, and as headers13 said, lots of people do feel short curtains feel unfinished. There are a few options I'd suggest. From what I can tell your windows and doors are uPVC. If this is the case, there is a system called PerfectFit available, where Venetian, Pleated or Roller blinds sit within a discreet frame, and literally clip into your windows with no need for drilling. You can even open your windows with them down, and they don't flap in the wind. This creates a really neat look, and will allow you to easy dress your windows and door separately. Of course, you might like to layer dress curtains over the top of the windows. Alternatively, two Roller or Roman blinds, one on each window, would finish the room off beautifully. There are loads of designs available, and you could have a separate one for your door. You could also go for a combination of blinds and curtains - perhaps curtains at the window for a sumptuous look, with a simple blind that won't get in the way too much at the door. The best way to keep the cold out would be to have floor length lined curtains. This would exclude the draft the best. Is the sill narrow enough to sit behind some curtains? In terms of style, a classic French Pinch Pleat or a tailored pleat gives a full appearance. Select from a single, double or triple pleat. This is perfect for large window areas and bay windows.
