PRO10 years agoLIlly left and Dave right - LIlly's the best rat catcher ever and Dave's getting on a bit now, so he guards the cat! This is Mean ( the cat ), she rules the roost like most cats even with 3 legs..........she's 14 now and still scales the fences to sit on the roof and preside over the dogs.
Look at that adorable grumpy face..............she's not called Mean for nothing!

Comments (8)I invested in good quality locks when I bought the house. There is no spare key hiding in obvious places for a burglar to find eg. near the door, Most importantly, I actually shut and lock the doors when I am out even if I'm just in the garden. Having worked in the criminal justice system for 15 years, I know most burglaries are opportunistic so I feel safe with the doors securely locked as the burglar will move on. Comments (4)Are you planning on just adding a wall at the side or closing a lot of it in? My dogs have their bedroom under the stairs but it’s a lot wider and there are just two of them. It fits their crate (secure bed) at the low end with a large memory foam dog mattress in front of that and then space for their water bowl at the walk-in end. It is carpeted so they don’t eat here (food is eaten in the kitchen!) but they lye in it all day I would suggest, if you want to make it more snug for the dogs but give easy access for you cleaning it etc is to do a double door. Ie one large front that opens for you and within that, a cut out for the dogs. So it looks like a kennel door but isn’t. Mount the bowl on the wall so it’s off the floor but still easy to drink from and cover the floor with one thick dog mattress and some cosy beds or fleeces....See MoreWhat carpet would work best here...

I think a Persian would be lovely, and the pattern would hide any paw marks although wool is meant to dispel any dirt. I’m a bit limited on colour Options but also tried it in a yellow (I was after an F&BIndian yellow but couldn’t get the shade!) - 10 years agoHi agree with being careful regarding the cross breeds. Apparently there is now a huge black market according to the RSPCA where they are farmed then split up and sent to "registered breeders" who appear legit. Hovis was rescued from a farm with 50 others. We agreed to take him at 4 weeks old as they couldn't cope. He was really sick for 2 months recovering from infections. Labeled as a cockerpoo, turns out he's a wolfhound cross!!!!!
10 years agoThis is Jess relaxing on the sofa. Her other hobbies are eating and going for walks. She is a terrier/ collie cross and is around eleven (she came from a shelter at around eighteen months old) and is still full of life!

Our Grass has a DIN rating of 7 which means it won't fade and manufacture gurantee 10 years . PRO- 9 years agoHere's my beautiful little old boys, Little Herbie Turds (12 yrs) and Digsby the Womble-bum (18). Poor little Herbs has two dislocated legs from his previous owners and Digsby was about to be put down by his previous owners because they didn't want him any more. We've had them both for roughly 4 years and every day we seem to fall in love with them even more.
- 9 years agoHi everyone, this is Jake he's a very cheeky mischievous little thief , who takes most things as his when the opportunity arises.
We have many laughs with him & he is so loving!
Jake is crossed with King Charles Cavalier & miniature Poodle we love the breed because not only is he very Cute & Cheeky to look at, But he dosn't Cast Hair & we have found that family members who suffer from Allergies haven't had any problems been around him.
He's our Lovable Family Member.

9 years agolast modified: 9 years agosome lovely dogs on show, i have a saluki cross. we got her from a rescue centre she had been badly used before we re homed her, i have had her for 8 years and she walks beside my wheelchair and is my constant companion,everyone local knows skye and myself when we are out together

My Rescued collie cross Benjamin, he had been abused so badly he walked backwards for 3 years so he could watch us. He had a broken pelvis & badly broken back leg. He can't wag his tail normally but he has a little whisk action going on right at the end. He is a beautiful soul. Here he is chilled out

nelly is another mistreated rescue. Ben loves her, She spends more time under the duvet than I do & loves her pink cushion.

Our 2 Parsons Terriers Otto and Ruby age 1 & 10, very much part of the household. Every child should have a pet growing up.... I feel it teaches kindness and iliminates fear.
