Hi Anastassia, Yes it is perfectly fine to combine a gas hob with an induction. If you search Domino hobs you'll find some, Neff and Miele do some nice ones. Also it's fine to cut two hole for the hobs in your quartz, though there should be about 60mm minimum of stone between. You can with some models get joining/connecting strips, so therefore just cutting one hole, depending on the look you want. Hope that helps :))

Luke, are you still here? if so a few questions. I have just had my PUXA hob fitted flush in a Quartz worktop which is white. As in the pics above, there are very tiny 'chips' in the cut edge of the quartz. Would a black sealant not accentuate these, and would white not be preferable, as at least the glass edge of the hob is perfectly straight so the sealant would be less obvious? Also is this OTTO stuff Ok to use on Quarrtz as this is not natural? Thanks

When I had my kitchen refitted, but builder said I had to have a wall fan because he assumed the extractor would be recirculating. But, my extractor is ducted to an outside vent, so I didn't need the wall fan I'm glad to say.

Hello We're renovating our kitchen and we're at the stage of looking at appliances. I've read lots of useful posts on this forum about what brand of vented induction hob might be better, but I have a specific question about the design of the vented fan in the middle. We're considering either a Bora x Pure or a Neff N90. Does anyone have a view on whether the round extraction fan in the Bora x Pure might be more or less efficient at extracting vapour than the rectangular shaped fan in the Neff N90. The Air throughput at min. level (m³/h) seems to be quite similar, but I can't help thinking that the rectangular fan will perform better than the circular fan, as it covers more surface area.
