The hardware comes in various lengths and can be bought from several sources, such as:- Amazon sliding barn door system Ecrater Uk I don't know of any doors like that in the UK and suspect that they are not sourced from here. You could achieve a similar effect by buying pine doors & painting the glazing bars black

Thanks for your comment, this is now quite an old thread and in that time, many many new sliding doors have hit the market, with many substantially better than the Cortizo product. Ultimately with sliding doors, there is no bad door or window on the market. But where they differ is who makes them, the overall supply chain and the quality of the installation. All the current products should be designed to meet or exceed industry standards for weather performance and security, as well as quality of aluminium and quality of paint finish. Where they can differ is in their aesthetics, overall sight lines, engineering, the quality of the hardware/components, the choices available and their brand perception. Any correctly made and properly fitted door should give you reliable service long term. For the gentleman in the states, it's impossible to help without knowing which brand you've had. Condensation is caused by so many issues not *just* the windows and doors and often it is a lack of airflow in the home. Otherwise it does sound like manufacturing and installation issues, rather than a product fault. Hi, there are latches that fit to the outside of the door, top or bottom, with a hook that goes into a circular loop to hold it open, something like this. An alternative is a door stop which is usually a weighted fabric cube or one made of wrought iron.

40cm is too much for a safe and comfortable step. It would be useful if you could add some measurements to the sketch and where does the path on the left go? You could possibly get away with raising the patio 20cm. I don't think raised beds are necessary but it is difficult to tell levels. etc. from your sketch. You may need a decking skirt or something to cover the raised patio edges, such as a brick plinth.
