Beautiful kitchen! Why not add a bench and top it up with fur - for a place to sit during cooking? You can also put a linen board on the wall to stick shopping list and recipes.

What about some shelving with saucepans, glass jars with sugar etc in... and that linen board sounds good :)

Your kitchen looks perfect the way it is, it's a joy ( in a big way ) to see clean lines, uncluttered space and please do not hang things on walls, especially pots and pans and clutter it back up. It's gorgeous the way it is. If anything at all, put up a really large mirror pick up on the earthy tones of the backsplash or gold, copper etc and bounce even more light around. I wish i had the space to put everything away and just look at perfection.

Thank you Chantelle, i should i said the island is built with leg/feet room on the right side, so i will put 4 bar stools up to it. I definitely love the idea of seating in the kitchen! The linen board looks very nice! and i could add colour to it by using some pictures as well, good idea!

i like the shelving idea too, i could definitely use the space but i just dont want people to knock their heads if thats the main space for guests to stand/sit and socalize.

Hi. I'd go for a piece of warm metallic ŵall art. It won't stand out enormously against the ŵall colour but I think it would work well with the room. Perhaps paint the radiator in the ŵall colour to blend it in. For the island maybe also a vase of faux stems or flowers. Perhaps an old earthenware bottle shaped vase? I'd go for different textures for the rest of the accessories rather than introduce colour but in different shades but definitely include a potted herb or two, some wood (stack of chopping boards or a pile of bowls etc), glass and perhaps a metallic kettle. The kitchen looks lovely btw

It will be degree show time soon at the art colleges, how about a beautiful large painting? Also, many places do 'Open Studios' where you can buy directly from artists. I always think a painting makes a room like like a home.

Lovely kitchen. I'm another that wouldn't clutter the space. I love pegboards, but in the garage or craft room. I wouldn't have a vertical radiator or anything else that stands out and is purely decorative.

I'd cover the radiator with a radiator cover and have a lovely leather armchair to the right of it, which will add warmth/ texture and work beautifully with your colour scheme. It's also lovely to have a chair in the kitchen. I'd probably add a picture above the radiator cover.
