I have to say i didn't think of the radiator!! and now that i notice it, it is a bit of an eye sore, thanks for that; i'll check out your link. and Wow, I had never thought of the board with the hooks! Thank you Chantelle, i should i said the island is built with leg/feet room on the right side, so i will put 4 bar stools up to it. I definitely love the idea of seating in the kitchen! The linen board looks very nice! and i could add colour to it by using some pictures as well, good idea! i like the shelving idea too, i could definitely use the space but i just dont want people to knock their heads if thats the main space for guests to stand/sit and socalize. Comments (5)You could go for another plant (real or good fake) for top shelf above TV to soften and pull the alcoves together. I would agree with Kate that both walls just need some artwork, maybe smaller ones above the sofa and a large piece for the blank wall....See Moreliving room help on blank wall space
Comments (3)Choosing art is a very personal thing. I have a couple of generic suggestions that would work in the space - a large mirror in a nice frame or a gallery wall with black and white photos of family and friends in random frames purchased from charity/second hand shops. An easy art project would be buying a large canvas, taping a chevron pattern on it and painting it black, white and gold (or alternative colours to suit)....See More- 8 years ago
