Hi, Love copper, it has been out of fashion for so long it i rarely specified but if you look at the London design market at the moment its making a comeback. I think its a really exciting material to work with. Using copper in its flat form can work really well, you get all the reflective properties of a polished steel but the wonderful copper tones add warmth. Also consider copper as a texture, if you have this as a key metallic through the house / apartment you can use it in various ways. Katie please remember that with dark walls you may see roller marks underneath strong light. Another problem with dark walls is if you try to touch it up, is visible and you will need to repaint hole wall. Otherwise they look good but can be tricky.
