We have an open plan dining kitchen area with a large opening on the left leading into a small snug with stairs. We are tiling the dining/kitchen area with a light drey tile. We would like to put wooden flooring down in the snug but are unsure whether this would look right? Continuing the tile would flow better but we wanted a warmer material for the snug. There would need to be trim across the opening where the two floor finished meet and I'm worried this would spoil the snug.
Any advice would be much appreciated!
