you can easily transform your kitchen into something exciting and with a more contemporary feel. Start by removing the end shelves and keeping the look just as cupboard finish. The worktop squared off both in terms of shape and edging. Painting the cupboards and removing the knobs for either touch open spring mechanism hinges or adding more contemporary knobs!

Consider painting the top cabinets to blend with the wall colour you choose and think of the theme you want. I have two tone literally on the same cupboard doors.. But of course there are a million ways to decorate a kitchen. Think of colours first and then the worktop. Look at the light levels and are you replacing anything appliance wise? This might further inform you colour wise. :))
