We are so flexible in design we can assure we can make any door to suit your taste, with fantastic range of wood finishes which are all powder coated aluminium. I hope your rennovation project has gone well for you! Kind regards, Elliot...See MoreHow should I treat the inside of my cottage front door?
Comments (1)Hi Harriet. I think it's fine to paint this door in any lighter colour you like. For your interior doors and cupboards though you could consider painting them in the wall colour, it often works for smaller rooms with more than one door so they blend into the walls and it looks less busy and therefore more spacious...See MoreHelp, what colour front door for improved curb appeal ??
Comments (20)Thank you Celerygirl and everyone else. I think I have made my decision now for now. Black !!! I am going to have the door frames, sidelights and door in Black and centralised, the brick work extended at the top of the frame and a roof light installed in the roof. Its exactly what I didn't think I wanted but what sits right with me. Many thanks for all of your help I will update you all with the result in November when we are due to carry out the work....See Morewhat colour front door?
Comments (7)CD and Sonia - thanks for your lovely comments. I’m definitely not bold! The other houses in the estate are white rendered properties and no one else has the porch so not able to compare to see what things would look like but I’ll probably be demonised if i did anything strong! . The sage options look worth exploring. Didn’t even think of green hues - was so fixated on thinking of variations of the grey/ brown theme. I did think pale blue as you see a lot of designs that put brown and blue / turquoise together but my husband is totally against that option . I’ve been pouring over the RAL colour chart as I have to link it to those . RAL 7038 looks similar. The front of the house is south facing so in the day it is a bit lighter . Other ideas on that theme RAL 7030, RAL 7032 , RAL 7035, RAL 7038, RAL7044. My husband thinks RAL 7036, RAL 7004 which are definitely greyer. Could get very expensive with tester pots!...See MoreJC
