The door was opening on the other side and I hated it. The corner was too closed so we had him come back to make this change. He was supposed to do it in a better way so we can have the knobs still but he chose the easy way again. I’m not happy with the shelves either. The top shelf is way too big and the hanging space is lower because of this so we could only fit a few baskets underneath. Looks older, possibly 1930s Bakelite? How old is the house?

Mine are in the bottom corner of wall units and top corners of base units. Makes them easier to reach too! I think I prefer the larger knob in your photo but there’s not much difference in the sizes for it to be an issue if you went for the smaller ones.
