As a contrast but to prove the colours work together. We have grey units and cream walls, so yes go for it. I think if you have a darker floor and lighter walls, you'll keep the airy theme. I wouldn't bother with named colour paints from the likes of F&B etc, instead as you want to get the shade right, pick your tile, take the tile and a drawer front to any shop that will mix paint and that offers hundreds of shades and get the pale grey right. It needs to be a warm grey to work with cashmere. I think the phrase now is Greige ( Grey / Beige ).

Sal, Your kitchen looks beautiful! Its such a pain having to choose colours but I guess its definately worth it at the end. Going to order some test pots today and try as suggested. I like the feel mellow mocha gave to your kitchen - bounces back light and the contrast on the other side of the wall - the copper blush! Looking at doing something similar but want whatever colour I choose to flow through our lounge (its open plan) without 'breaking' the feel- if you get what I mean! Hi All, We are currently having an extension and taking the kitchen to the back off the house which will serve as a kitchen diner. We have gone for a U-shaped handles kitchen at one end off the room in Cashmere gloss and opted for a worktop in driftwood which will also be a splashback/tekwall. we also have full height units at the back with fridge and freezer. the remaining space will serve as a diner. I am considering tile flooring with a unfinished wood effect but am not too sure which colour to go for or which colour would compliment the kitchen design we have chosen. the walls is another aspect I'm struggling on, should I add a pop off colour or stay neutral. I am open to any ideas on floor)/ wall colour/ kitchen advice. also, if you need any more information on details drop a message. thanks for all your help. (I have attached units/worktop colour from the suppliers website but may not be entirely accurate due to lighting)

It looks great Sam! I love the cabinet, and the flooring choice too, you’d never know it was lino. We have Lino in our utility room, its so easy to keep clean...lovely and warm and soft under bare feet too! You must be so pleased with it, everything works together really well.
