Hi everyone No decisions yet, its effectively like an insurance job so we are still waiting on a decision. I would love hardwood flooring but the supplier doesn't stock hardwood only laminate, carpet and vinyl. I'd like to put the same in both affected rooms (dining room currently carpeted and kitchen currently vinyl) and also in the den which is next to the kitchen so it seems like the laminate might be our best option. No karndean/Amtico type options either. In an ideal world we would have the hardwood but then we would have to make a contribution to the cost. Normally not a problem but I am leaving my job as a partner in a large law firm this week to set up on my own (very scary!) and so we are tightening the purse strings for a few months in case things don't work out!

Always worth checking with Lasscos, if they don't have any then they may be able to suggest where you can get some, and who may be able to restore the ones you have. They have a few locations so worth going and having a look or at least giving them a call. They will also probably have some other 30s bathroom fixtures. Small lego light figures (then the kids can see what they are doing at 4am!) Products from Lush & Body shop for my daughter and new this year "Bath and Body" hand sanitizers: they come in loads of pretty colours and scents and come with holders so they can be attached to the outside of school bags. For my son it's usually anime figures like kirito keyrings, a mouse mat based on the latest game he is interested in, Then it is christmas themed chocolate and christmas themed jelly pops. Coincidently my daughter has a "thing" for mushrooms and cacti. She has cacti sweatshirts, t-shirts, a cacti light,cacti rubbers and living cacti. However If I won these vases I would love them for myself as they are so wacky I love them. I hope i,m not too late to enter this I haven't been able to get onto the houzz site for the last 3 days for some reason.
