The quotes I received for polished concrete were high due to the fixed costs of having to have Lorraine's mixing the cement so I was advised that micro cement would be a more cost effective option for a small space as it's applied in a thin layer but has a similar look. Hello Kathryn, Encaustic cement tiles need to be sealed before usage. And for regular maintenance PH neutral soap should be used. I have no expertise in this area but I think you would need to talk to a party wall specialist. They'd be able to advise on cost sharing as well as party wall issues.

You can get smaller 5 kg bags which don’t cost much. I knows it’s still to much in quantity.
