We have just created a textured wall for a photo shoot. Turned out really well. Has anyone done anything like this, would love to see some shots.

Hi. The room looks great. i do think if you want to add to it though you need pattern, texture and lighting as said before. In terms of colour you could add a warm colour or a warmish neutral for accessories, yellow, orange or a shade of red should work if not any neutral. As said before you don't need to add lots just a few. Swap one of your existing cushions for something deep in texture and add another patterned coloured cushion. Add plant or herbs in the kitchen along with some wooden chopping boards or something in wood for texture. Maybe a ceramic vase for the table and then a floor light for the corner by the sofa with maybe a lamp table and lamp for the other side.

Hello, I don't normally comment but you have inspired me to get on and do my splashback, been using some propped up flooring for two years. I have bought various sample tiles and now have some pretty trivets and placemats ! Your kitchen looks much more inviting and together with a few changes and good choices. I really like the tiles, sadly don't think green will suit my kitchen but where did you get them ? Hoping they might have something for me. thanks Ali.

If you really struggle to find an exact pattern match (items are discontinued all the time) maybe choosing another pattern and going over it might work.You could also try contacting Brewers for the exact patterned wallpaper as they have a lot of really knowledgeable sales personnel and you might get lucky. Brewers in Winchester was a wealth of knowledge when I was painting my house there a few moves ago.
