Need help with bathroom floor
Comments (8)Ceramic or porcelain tile will do very well. Laminate can "puff and die" inside of 6 months! I've seen it. It isn't pretty. The closest you will get to "click together" flooring = 100% vinyl flooring. The vinyl is water proof...the joint is not. There is still a chance that moisture (water or humidity) will reach the subfloor and begin to rot it out from underneath the floor. Be safe = ceramic or porcelain tile properly installed. I think you can work with a cooler tone in the bathroom. One of the design benefits with bathrooms is they can have their own "presence" in a home. They do not need to be identical to the rest of the home. They can carry the theme...but they are allowed their own flare. Go with something that is visually interesting. It can be a breath of fresh air if the rest of the home "all one look"....See Morebathroom flooring help please
Comments (11)Assuming that is your washstand the tile is against I would tile the floor with the same tile to avoid you having too many different flat surfaces in a small space (assuming you can get it in a floor quality tile). Given the light situation I would paint a feature wall in a deep colour to add contrast to an otherwise fairly white room. Against this tile I like Farrow and a ball Downpipe- don't forget to buy a wipeable matt finish....See Morehelp please....we are looking for bathroom flooring advice...
Comments (3)How about a pale concrete effect? https://m.vinylflooringuk.co.uk/1211-anti-slip-stone-effect-hometex-by-envy.html Perhaps a solid pale grey to go with the grout. Or dark if that's your style: https://m.vinylflooringuk.co.uk/camaro-loc-3453-black-shadow.html Dark wood effect: https://m.vinylflooringuk.co.uk/0562-anti-slip-wood-effect-felt-back-vinyl-flooring.html And if Marina's suggestion (which I find lovely) is too much of the same for you, a pattern could work: https://m.vinylflooringuk.co.uk/1600-stone-effect-vinyl-picasso-by-envy.html...See MoreMy bathroom floor size help
