help with tiling in the bathroom pretty please
Comments (33)These are the tile samples I have so far. On the left - small top dark grey, under that is a tile with faux stepped marble effect tiles that are more slate toned. Large tile to the right is the mandarin stone one (v expensive, lol) The walnut in the middle I love the pattern but it’s not as rich a colour as I wanted and I can’t find anything else online in an American walnut style tile. The bottom tile is a v v pale grey with similar pattern to the mandarin stone one. How would you work these tiles together? Walnut floor and sink unit and dark grey all over the walls? Just the patterned grey on the back of the shower wall and sink area and plain grey on other walls?? :0/...See MoreHelp to idetify these bathroom floor tiles, please
Comments (4)Unfortunately it's almost impossible to identify tiles from a picture. There are thousands of different tile designs so you are in for a very difficult task. Tiles in the picture are ceramic tiles and are inexpensive. I can tell because of the size, most likely 30x30cm, because the edges are sharp, unfinished without bevel and because the colour is plain. The designer alternative is to use mosaics, that can provide a very stylish finish, continuous pattern and with the choice of many different colours and formats. We procure products from a variety of manufacturers in Italy and for your particular requirement we suggest you looking at https://www.appianimosaic.com/mosaic-colors-tiles/single-firing-ceramic-tiles-anthologia Hope this helps but feel free to get in touch for any further enquiry. Comments (14)Another triumph from Minnie! That is such a nice bathroom and it won’t need much to bring it up to date. Would you consider dark green walls on the non tiled bit? I have sheet vinyl in my bathroom and it’s about 6 years old and still looks tidy. It also has a non slip, slightly gritty feel to it which is great. I would love a Victorian style patterned floor but I can’t justify it as there’s nothing wrong with the current floor - damn!...See MoreBathroom tile colours, please help.
Comments (5)Thanks all for your help. Yes we are only having patterned floor, wall tiles in wet area largish white. I love the look of wood vanity but when we saw it in showroom it just wasn't quite right, being wood effect. When I swapped for blue vanity in my picture it flet better to me as we will have loads of wood elsewhere on house but what others may see as a boring/dull blue is actually quite adventurous for us! I've posted again on my 'final' decision. Thanks for the help. My nerves are much calmer now with all your friendly and wise input....See More- 9 years ago
