I tried colour matching various f&b shades with Valspar professional , some of which B&Q even had a 'recipe' for, but none of them really came close. I ended up buying mainly with Valspar's own professional paint (primer & paint in one) & loved the durable, scrubbable, finished result. They have a fab colour range too & their colour cards are a good size & absolutely spot on to the painted colour. (If you cannot see a swatch of colour that you like, they have an additional enormous swatch book under the counter. Their tester pots are brilliant value for money & a good size too. I also bought Dulux & Crown on the 2 for £22 offer which is unbeatable if on a tight budget!

I don't find railings cold at all but the floor tile I've got has a warm undertone to it. I wouldn't pick a grey floor tile as this would make it cold. Wooden flooring would look amazing if you like wooden floors in a kitchen. Re wood accents my kitchen has an American walnut table at the end and drawers/inside cupboards are walnut/walnut veneer. Walnut is a lovely warm wood, I think it looks more sophisticated than oak with greys and blues. Re glass splashback , I agree that it would not look right. I remember Minnie suggested some silver leaf tiles to someone previously which would look great. Hopefully Minnie will reply re the accessories, accessorising is not my forte!

I bought 8 from a company on amazon. They were £80 for 4. Have had them for 6 months, used a fair amount and still in good condition-no wobbles, no breakages! At the end of the day, you're after the style, the way the chairs look, and not all of us can afford the price tag! I'll pop the link below. They arrived quickly. The only problem we had is that one of the bits where you screw the legs to the seat wasn't threading properly, but we just used a screw we had at home. Beyond your desired look and feel, you need to have a list of appliances that need to be included in the layout. Most technical kitchen design is about how to fit all the appliances in. Cabinets tend to fit into place around them. I've noticed also that you want folding sliding doors (FSDs). They are very fashionable at the moment but come with certain issues you should be aware of. Firstly, they come with a lot of moving parts. Over time, new walls and door openings tend to settle and can cause issues with the ease of opening. When open, FSD panels take a up a surprising amount of space. You need to include that space in your plan. Of course, they can open to the outside but that could impede the flow of people outside. Consider large sliding doors or stacking sliding doors instead. If you're set of FSDs try to go with standard sizes as they tend to be less expensive than custom sizes. That applies to any doors/windows.
